I am more then ready for winter, I can't wait for cooler temps and would love to have a few snow this winter. That just doesn't happen down here hardly ever. :(

HH, I always had a suspicion that you are a a few ounces shy of a full oil change but now you've proved it. It's AUGUST! I don't want to think about leaves, let alone SN.... I can't even type the word! I'm going out to the POOL.

Cooler temps sound like a nice option but I'm not ready for below zero weather yet. Yesterday was only in the upper 60's and It really felt good working outdoors. Almost got the new fenders fabricated and installed on the trailer and hardly broke a sweat.

The night bug songs are telling me this summer is just about shot... "Can we have the next season, please!"

You have got to be kidding, right?

If ya'all are really excited about winter, I've got a Wheel Horse snow blower to sell. Pretty nice shape!!! I've got 2 walk behind blowers, and anyway we're going to Virginia for the winter again.

I take that is a pic of you HH?

Yep, Carhartt Cab and all. I just came across that picture as the katydids and crickets were goin' full blast. Just a bit early if you ask me! Not to mention going down into the 60's at night...

Last winter made me realize there is no room for unbridled "optimism" when the sky gets gray... "All dressed up and nowhere to go" all season long...:D
