I'd really rather NOT have winter yet.. i just need four more full cords of fire wood cut and stacked before winter shows up.. And no.. Fall is not between summer and winter here.. We go right into winter..

That looks Cooold!! in that picture. I don't want to think about that yet. It's still nice and summery here and this morning it's a beautiful summer day here! I know winter will come but I'm still in denial about it!

I'm glad it's cooling down here, but I'm not ready for freezing temps!

I just wonder what the next season will be. Fall? Winter? Spring? We've had a sudden change in temperature and precipitation for the last week.

I'm no where near ready. Still have my taters to dig as soon as the vines die, still getting sweet corn, bunch of little things to do.

Nope, not ready at all, but glad to hear you are.

I am ready for fall like temps but not ready for winter just yet. Haven't had much snow for the last couple of years to even look forward to plowing or blowing snow with the tractors. Maybe this year will be the year we get to play?

For me, fall means loosing half of my tractor time for the next 10 months! I am looking forward to fall weather, I am not ready for winter yet. I still have a lot of firewood to gather, split and stack!

I ought to get my Bush Hog snow blower repaired. Who knows, might get some snow some day! If the extremes keep coming like the weather has been dishing out, we're all due a doozy of a nasty, snowy, COLD winter!
