I also bought a later model grill that is solid so the fuel tank is protected.

If you can see the gas tank thru the grill, it's a 69 model, if not 70 or later.
That plastic gas tank is one of the few weak poi nts. I've heard of more than one person having to do repairs.
.....in my opinion one of the ugliest wheel horses made......
Though not as ugly as a D. Those are real woofers!!!

Best part was the 54" snow blade w/ hydro lift...
As that model is about 40 years old, be sure to check out the tranny after you work it for a while and get the oil warm...then drive up a small incline to see if you still have plenty of hydro power.

as a collector with 70 plus tractors from farm to garden a tractor is worth what you are willing to pay for it. as i have found you will have more in it than you can sell it for . thing i consider before buying one is it all there and can i find parts and i too have two gt14s paid $60 for one and $165 for the other not running they both run now and are complete just my thoughts.
