Some of our activities in the last years, starts with making hay



Next is threshing with LANZ



John Deere LANZ combine harvester



2011 we drove with our tractors to Luxemburg, harvesting potatos

Great videos. The potato digging took me back about 50 years when the local schools would close down for a few weeks in the fall so the kids could go out and help pick up the potatoes for the farmers. Now one half a million dollar digger and a few trucks with drivers have replaced a hundred or so kids and adults. Ain't progress grand except those adults are now paid by the government (us) not to work.

@ Bill: here at germany it is the same and so people can't dignify the food they eat. And this makes me sad.

@ Brian: the former LANZ factory became part of JD in 1956. The first german JD at Canada was the model 710. And deep in my green heart you can see the yellow blood flow
