There is a very nice original 1200 for sale for 1500$ and now a restored one comes up for even more $ MF's seem to be more expensive than JD's lately.

Divide that by 5 and that's about all I give for it!

I think it would be worth about 1/2 that price. It is a very nice restore, and those weights will fetch $200 for the set.

Considering the nice resto, extra engine, and attachments, I'd say a bit more than half is fair price.

Yes, after posting, I kinda felt the same way.

Nice tractor, but seems like a bit much to me.

For comparison recently there was a nice original JD318 with a snow blower for the same price. I'd like to find a 1450 or 1655 but I'm not really interested in the 1200. The owner probably has invested a lot in that 1200 and is trying to get his money back out of it. That's hard to do in most cases.
