Man, whoever took that picture is really tall!!!!

I wonder if it's really independent left/right hydraulic or just some kind of transaxle/brake setup.

The mower is a Dixon. But I have never seen the high add on head light bar front.

The Dixon's had a twin cone drive clutches. When you wanted to turn, pull the handle in which direction you want to turn, it adds pressure to the cone brake and slows that side down allowing the other side to keep turing at the orignal speed for you to turn.

Nice mower! That seat is in great condition! There's plenty of room for a cooler besides the driver too!

Steve and I had to walk around one of those rotting into the ground when I got my 725 Sears. It's going to just fade away & he wouldn't even talk below $750. (yes, I said $750)

One of the Dixon's actually did design and help build the first Zero Turn. I cannot remember all the details but it was what started GrassHopper. Dixon was still in business until bought out by Husqvarna a few years ago and the plant was closed. I worked there briefly and know many people who worked there for years. It was a major employer in my home town and was a sad day when they shut the doors. Just another small American business lost to corporate buy outs!

Lol, another fond Dixon memory. A friend of mine once designed, built and try to Sell Dixon a boat attachment. Had dual rollers hooked to props and a set of wheels You basically drove your mower into it then drive it into the water. Dixon's only response was. " we never have been, and hope never to be in the boat business!" lol
The guy later ended up working for Dixon…not as an engineer!!

Something like moths and lights. That's why bass boats are always metal flake, men can't resist something shiny,
