Shepard Smith does the Fox Report news show at 5 CST. on Fox News Network, yesterday he reported about a GT Demolition Derby in MN. at a County fair.

He reported that it went over so well that Co. fair officials have scheduled more events all week.

Looks like fun, but I can see a few bruises, and maybe a broken bone eventually.

Aside from the Ariens in there, I saw nothing to get worked up over. We need standardized rules for demo derbies. Only LT's, no GT's allowed.

The demo derby I saw at our County Fair was mostly "disposable" garden/lawn tractors with vertical engines, although I did see 1 JD with a horizontal shaft engine. I am not a JD guy, but I was still upset to see this tractor demolished beyond restoration.

That big Ariens was pushing the LT's all over the place. Thats far too nice a Gt to put into a Demolition Derby. I'm surprised you can hold an event like that with the obvious potential for injuries .
