Sigh, I can't believe I missed the cake again. But sometimes the reason for people that leave suddenly is that they click the wrong button and then they don't even notice or they don't but don't come back. Happens to me often enough.

I was taught that it is better to keep your mouth shut and let everyone assume that you are an ediot, than to open it and conferm. So it could of been me trying to save face!!!! :rofl2:
I am also a slow pecker, but at least will peck "hi"back at ya!!

Folks, I didn't mean to imply that it was rude, just disappointing. When you sit in there for a bit all by yourself and someone comes in, you get excited to start a conversation, then poof, they are gone. It's kind of a let down I guess is what I'm trying to say.

As for those of you who don't type fast enough or don't understand the acronyms, we will wait and answer when we see your reply and help you with the acronyms. Staying in the chat rooms greatly helped me with my typing . Don't get me wrong, I still suck at it, just not as bad. And I had to ask about the acronyms too. If you google chat room computer acronyms there are lists you can look at to tell you what they mean. Here is one that helped me...

http://www.web-frien.../chatslang.html

When I started using a computer I was a two fingered hunt-n-pecker, (hey, that sounds kinda dirty, :toilethead: ) but now I use two or three fingers on each hand to type. That is as good as it will get for me, because I will never memorize the keyboard at my age. :laughingteeth: Next time ya pop in, sit a spell, we'll work with ya. It can be an enjoyable way to spend some idle time I find. Thanks!

I believe between you and Gerald, your scaring them away !!

Stop posting bunny suit photos, that may help.

I remember the other chat room we used to go in, and some would just stay there and not speak up, not sure why but it felt odd to me, like being watched or something.

IMO this site has has much better chat room. Thats a good thing.

I have clicked on the chat a few times by accident thinking it was a new message for me. I saw the red number and got excited.
(BTW I just went to the chat room, nobody home. I guess everybody is out here talking about people that wont stay in the chat room....go figger)

Very funny little manuever in the chat room this evening wilber. In out in out. Ya, I'm not amused. I started this thread to generate more traffic in chat and get to know more members, not to be the butt of your little joke bouncing in and out several times just to piss me off. Well it worked. I am PISSED. I guess I'll go back to being a read only member and leave the contibuting to you. :mad2:

I am also like this. In person, I am very silent. But somehow here I managed to accumulate over 2000 posts in about 9 months! LOL!

Not from what I have seen, I know very little of them myself, and type as I speak in person, not sure if that's good or bad :bounce:
