Monday I worked on a friends truck and I managed to mess up my back. I haven't been able to do much all week and it is driving me nuts. I wanted to go out so bad and work on the tractor yesterday it was killing me. Oh well. Another wasted week.

i know the feeling all to well. i messed up my back in 1988 and was off work for many years because of it. im able to work now but still have days that i would rather just stay in bed because of the pain . what is worse for me is the arthritis that has set into my back and knees. i have such a hard time working on anything any more its not funny. when it flairs up is when i so wish i knew some people around here that could lend a hand.

Thanks. I got hurt back in 2000 when 96 year old man jumped his car over a median and landed on top of my car. Now about 4 or 5 times a year I cant stand. It is no fun. I am on partial disability for it and no one will hire someone with a bad back. It is aggravating when it happens in the middle of a project. Last time it happened while I was away from home and my wife had to come get me out of the truck and help me in the house. That was a fun afternoon.

Was in PT for about 3 years. I have been able to start my exercises again so in a couple of days I will be back to annoying everyone in real life . I did just venture out to Autozone to get a couple of cans of primer and then sanded a little bit on the GVTs hood and shot it with primer again. Hurt but it felt good to be doing something.

Sorry to hear of your back problems. I have a compressed L4 L5 disc in my back that gives me grief on a regular basis. Luckily I don't usually get to the point where it seizes up, but I have been there and appreciate the pain and frustration you are going through. Hope you are feeling better soon!

I got dirty looks after cutting the headlights out at my desk and sanding on the grill in here. I told her it was my office and I would do what I wanted. She rolled her eyes up in her head and went back to the bedroom. Since what I need to do involves spray paint it isn't a good indoor project. Mechanically the tractor is great. it is just the cosmetics that need work.

I used to go the a chiropractor, but it didn't do any good so I quit.

Sorry to hear that you've been slowed down by your injury. I hope that you get back to moving around soon! I had an episode with a drug side effect (severe muscle spasms) about a year ago that put me down for 7 days and another 2 weeks of getting back to normal. I sympathize with you and feel your pain. Take it easy until you're back is ready.

When I can start doing my exercises again I am about a day away from normal usually.
I have pain meds that ease the pain as long as I am still.

I am supposed to go get a 250 gallon tank to use for an e tank I am hoping I can go get it.

Sorry to hear about your back. I've gone through a few spells of back pain, so I know the feeling, but
not to the extent of your situation. Keep your chin up, and stay mobile.
