Anyone know what value circuit breaker I should use to replace my defective one, which does not have readable markings? It's for a Bolens 1660 (QS16), 12 volt system with 15A stator generator. I assume I'd want something a little higher than 15A, say 20 or 25. Where would current spikes come from, anyway, that might damage the electrical system?

Also, my local repair shop tells me most tractors today use fuses, not circuit breakers. I'm happy to use a fuse - I can place it in a convenient spot in my circuit.

Thanks!

The service manual shows a 20 amp circuit breaker.
