For Old Timer due to a conversation we had. Please anyone add pics of trips you have had.

From my racing days OT. as per our conversation. On the drivers side you can make out the front of my Klein bike.

To continue with this..
This here is a shop in Boaz Alabama that wanted to hire me. I spent a fair bit of time working in Texas and was thinking of getting out of the oilfield. Hmm car audio sounded fun at the time. I never did jump into that work.

I was out with dad I don't recall where this was taken.. BUT i was enjoying the day.. Forgot my fishing pole on shore.. Dad said i floated around out there for hours.

A horrible thing to travel the country in is a lifted jeep.. BUT i did lots of it.

Then there is the other side of me.. normally i hate big bodies of water.. BUT for some reason in my sea kayak i felt safe.. This is on the Strait of Georgia on the east side of Vancouver Island. These pics are just north of Chemainus from years back. I miss that Kayak..

This was my first time in my kayak and i fell in love right away.

That's what being young was all about right.. Barrel raft and a pole.. just enjoying the day not a care in the world.. I hope i can offer my son all the grand adventures i have had in my life. It's been a joy to go where i have been.. I can't wait for part two of this grand journey, with my boy in tow.

Great photos, thanks for sharing them with us.
Your welcome, Your more then welcome to add to this thread.

Hey Boaz Alabama maybe 50 miles from my home. Nice pictures thanks for sharing.

You sir live in a great place.. If i would have taken that job i would have never met my wonderful wife and our son would not be on the way. BUT still a fantastic place and i hope to go back some day.. I feel blessed to have been so many places.

A little slice of your life, TG. Thanks!!!

There is more to come, I got looking at my pictures and couldn't stop smiling.

Nice pics TG!You sure have been to some very nice places.

Next i will scan the mountain pics and i will post up some of the pictures from Ohio and Iowa and such places.

Nice pictures TG ! I bet the memories came flooding back. Thanks for sharing!

I never really realized all of the places i have been shaped my life so much. All of the folks i have met along the way have been most wonderful to meet. Im really blessed to have been all over North America. I still have one big goal and dream to ride a bike (not a pedal bike) in every state and provence.

Thanks for Sharing TG. The Bicycle racing sound like it was in another life. Do you still ride?

Yes sir it was in another life, that was 20 ish years ago. I am paying for it now with a very bad back. But i don't regret it. Racing was a huge part of my life. That sport really helped me realize no matter how big the dream is GO FOR IT.. Aim high and dig deep to get there. Really pull from the bottom of your soul to accomplish what ever it is you desire.
I hope to get back on a bike just for leasure riding while i take one of my six dogs for a run.. THose pics (of my dogs will be in here also)..

I got into cycling when I was in my 50's. I didn't race but road with a club and did lot's of rides. I have a carbon fiber custom made bike a friend made for me. Hopefully one of these days I get back on it.
