You know Harold the easy solution to all this is to simply not run cCleaner everyday.

Exactly what I expect to hear in the next few Emails! :D They must be off on weekends...

...more log in's... more screen shots.... more logfiles.... again today.:D

I'm really appreciating the "Snipping Tool" included with Vista Home Premium now!! You can draw a line around something, full window or full screen saves! Name it and save it and I'm done. The old "Print Screen" didn't seem to do it for me...

I am in awe of technology... not.:D

Thank you for your email.
I have passed your request on to our 2nd Line support team for further investigation; someone will get back to you as soon as possible.

I think the honeymoon is over.... :mecry:

They've obviously destroyed your expensive high end computer. I think you should contact your lawyer, um hummm!

If I'm there 2nd line tech then we're in trouble! Might as well go back to the tin can's and string.

As the sun pulls away from the shore and our boat sinks slowly in the west... Join with me now for a fond farewell from Piriform as they send me their "Aloha Harold Letter"...

Hi Harold,
Thank you for your patience in this matter. At this time I would like to offer you a refund.
After consulting our technical team, we have been unable to accurately identify the underlying issue. We have verified that we are not receiving similar reports from other users, and unfortunately having our technical team directly check your computer is not an option.
I am very sorry for the inconvenience, please let me know if you would like a refund.
Regards
Xxxxxxxx

Well, since I've been donating to them over the years anyway, I let 'em keep the money. Let's just say I'll just let the donation time go a little longer this time. :dancingbanana:

I think that is pretty good of them to offer. I do like their tool and it works great for me but when I use it I want all the cookies and temp file's removed, so this part of the program doesn't bother me if it works or not. Sorry you didn't get it fixed.

i run CCleaner a lot and don't mind having to log back in. I also have Advanced System Care 5 Pro that does a wipe when shutting down and powering up. Keeps the crap off this old thing!
