As in most of the country this year we are dealing with excessively dry conditions. Therefore, due to high fire danger, I don't want to risk the "trail ride" this year, but would still like to have a gathering. At a friend's suggestion, maybe have a "co-op lunch" w/tractor line-up at the picnic grounds.

I would like this to be an annual event as long as I'm able to hold it. I think all who attended last years event had a good time & there's room for more! And, if we're lucky, the weather will cooperate & we can do the drive (about an hour)!

I haven't even been to the farm for 3-4 weeks because of the heat, but it won't take long to get things ready. The pond is low, but I won't have to do much mowing!

Let me know what you think & if you're interested in coming on September 8th, 2012, or possibly the 15th of September. ~~ Lowell

sounds like fun. ought to be a good riding up there. my brother in law had some land in milan. good hilly stuff
I would like to do something like that around here (south of KC). its just flat and boring. I have wanted to do a poker run on the back roads. cant get enough interested to make it worth while.

Just up the road! Off I 35 on the Harrison/Daviess county line, south of Bethany.

We had 2 dozen people w/ 18 tractors, 1 Gator (special invite) & 1 Mule (mine) last year. Picnic lunch, then approx. one hours ride through fields & timber trails.

Sorry, my pictures from last year are tied up right now. ~~ Lowell

Count me in Lowell! :bounce: We had a great time last year.
My vote is for the 8th as that is Boonvilles show and you know some people in their organization have a very strong dislike of garden tractors.
I'll throw in a couple of pics from last years cruise.

You've got something to be proud of, from the pics, I'd wanna think this event will grow. All the best to you for representing GTnation !

Dry, Dry, Dry!!!

Not looking good to hold the event this year! :(

Just have to try again next year I guess, I don't want to call it off, but "safety first"!

Haven't decided for sure yet, but will have to decide soon. ~~ Lowell

Been in the G/T hobby for just over a year now and yet to make a single event!

About 5 miles off I-35 south of Bethany, MO, on the Harrison/Daviess county line. Not yet certain it's going to happen this year because of the dry conditions, but will post for sure on this thread within the next week. ~~ Lowell
