I picked up my first handgun this spring with the intention of getting my permit to conceal and carry but havent gotten time to take the class.
It is a springfield xd .40 bi-tone 5". Love it so far. Have put a couple hundred rounds thru it getting comfortable with it.
Also have a nice jc higgens .22 rifle with an old scope on it that i inherited from my great grandfather. Works awesome for varmants.

Now that we have "Open Carry" here in Oklahoma, I have been enjoying walking around and not having to hide it anymore.

I bought my 1st gun while working in EMS in Florida. I love Fls gun laws, I can simply drive around with one in the chamber while in my glovebox and not have to worry. Now that I live in RI, the thought of owning a gun up here is almost outlawed. Such a night and day mentality.

After being jumped outside my home at 3:30am when going on shift and protecting my family with my .45 and shotgun (I wont go into more details) I swore I'd never go again without firearms in my home.

Since then, both Amber & I own several firearms. We take classes, C&C classes and shoot at the range whenever we can.

How 'bout a " Raging Hornet"? Kinda fun... spendy little round though it packs a punch for a .22 cal. LOL.

My bud has a CZ rifle, chambered in 22 hornet, and man, what a tack driver that thing is.

I'm gonna go "on record" here and say that I don't have guns anymore. So when "THEY" come to take mine away, I'm gonna point to this post and use it as proof that I don't have any guns to turn in. :rolling:

And if you believe that, I've got a bridge I want to talk to you about........... :D

But "when I did have guns" I really liked my TC Contender pistol. Scoped 44mag 10" barrel was the ticket on hogs.... And an old reliable Ruger single action 22/22mag. Man, I miss those guns.....
