Surely you're pulling our leg.....looked like the auger was spinning slow....but then spinning things can visually fool you.

Sure didn't think a single could toss that much volume that far!

I have heard they offered a 7" and a 5" pulley on these blowers and I think this is a 5"er, gotta love diesel torque.

I would love to know what rpm that thing spins at compare to the blower on my 12. I still can't get over how far she chucks being a single stage.

When I get it home I'll probly put an optical tach on it and see, the engine spins at 2800 at full song.

Man that thing can throw some snow. My Bolens 1886-01 PTO spins @2000 rpm but does not throw snow like that. Very impressive for sure.

I still can't say enough how skeptical I was about using a single stage blower because I would always see comments about it clogging the chute all the time but I think it is all in keeping it fed the right amount. I am sure maybe the wet stuff might give some problems but I haven't had any yet. I still can't get over how far that thing throws it.

I'm suprised how well all the old Allis'/Simplicitys throw it, most of em I've seen sling it pretty good.
