The more I look into them, the old Sears Suburbans are rapidly rising on my list. I can't say why, except we recently got one and I may have another in the works, but they are neat. I think it is the variety of implements that were offered that will make nice a challenge to find.

I do love the Bolens and Cub Cadets, but there will be room for the Sears.

At the moment it's my Wheelhorse 653 with the K181 Kohler. I really enjoy mowing with the little guy.

Mine is the two 1974 Sears SS-16's I own. I have several pieces of equipment that has made gardening a lot easier. I also built a front end loader that's a real help. But I also enjoy all garden tractors!

I only have a few to chose from. I have a 1968 JD 110, I haven't used it yet, it is in parts in the garage being restored. Just picked up a JD 318 and mowed with it one time. I think I will love the 318 for ground engagement work and pushing snow but it was fine for mowing. I prefer the foot pedals for the hydro on my JD GT235 for mowing instead of the hand operated hydro on the 318. I guess it will depend on what the job is that I will be using it for.
