Had a hard time a few weeks ago trying to get an a/c line off an 1997 Chevy with 375k on it , I'd remembered one of the other mechanics at a different location had one of these and found the company that made them running a discount on there site , guessing there going to discontinue it .Ordered one for myself , It was only $5.99 + $8.50 shipping ( yea shipping was more then the tool was lol ) I'm cheap but figured if it saved one a/c , hyd.lines without damaging it or anything that you couldn't get an impact on it would pay for it's self , Al

Hello Al,

I don't know, what kind of tool this could be - never seen before and can't translate up to now. And so I googled for it.

http://www.shopwiki....-wrench-adapter That's what I found - and 5.99 seems a little cheap for a tool.

Can you say something regarding to the quality? Sorry, but the price sounds like brand-new garbage :beerchug:

Like Maynard I have a whole bunch of tools and have seen a bunch more but never have seen one of these.

Perhaps a video demonstration is in order.

Thanks,

Here's a web site sells them $26.86 and then the co. clearance page
http://www.handsonto...ter_p_8757.html
http://thexton.com/index.cfm/pageid/34
Here's a picture with a crows foot on it , it's only meant to break the fitting or line not turn it , it fits loose on the square drive for different size crows feet , that's ok because you just need the shock to make it work , Al

Now I see. Not nearly as complicated as I thought it might be.

It does look like it could come in handy at times and at that price well worth throwing one in the drawer.

Thanks,

Okay! Makes sense now! Might need to add one to my collection, but then I'd have to buy the crow's foot wrenches. LOL

:help: :wewantpics: :wewantvideo:
