I sold Cub Cadets at that time, the 147 with 48" sold for around $1500.00 and the 140 with deck sold for $1875.00. Lost a lot of sales for couple reasons, the 3 hydr., the individual brakes and it was "Green".

That's a ridiculous price! It's not even original, having been given what looks like a crappy paint job at some point. The skid shoes are missing from the blade, the blade wear edge is in 2 pieces which I don't think is normal at least not for the newer 54" blades, it smokes etc.

Wolle, that's funny! "One foul stands up every morning" is not a saying I have ever heard. I think our version would be "There's one born every minute"

What he is thinking, is he can tell his wife "He tried to sell it, but no buyers!" so he can keep his GT. Do you blame him, LOL?

Good call, and if he does I guess it would be hard to turn down

Wow. That 140 H-3 is a good tractor but not worth anything close to what he is asking. I looked at a 140 H-3 a couple of months ago that had a 48 inch deck and ran good/no smoke that was for sale for $600. If I had the money at the time it would have been mine. Coulda been mine. Dang it.
