Was at auction and found model 103.2388 and was cheap enough but was missing the head, Hopefully some one has one off a junk one that they would part out. Thanks for any help that someone can HELP. Dale

Dale, I'm not familiar with that exact lathe, but I would guess they are fairly common-and if so, I know a man who may have the missing parts once we know which ones. With the head stock or tailstock missing I'm pretty sure you need the exact piece.

You are missing the entire head stock??? Sears sold this same wood lathe for years. Your best bet would to get another one and make one good lathe.

The spindle and pulleys are great but the head is not there, I have the tail piece and the point is still frozen. The last time I used one was in High School.

Dang it was only 50 years ago. But I do have some thing that were made before I was born. Like drill press, 4 wheel wagon and lots of old horse drawn plows.
