I don't know I never put one on or took one off but in this Video it shows that it comes off easy.

I just now got around to watching this video.        :thumbs:     Thanks.

I especially like the part where he was pulling the J.D. backwards!  

We haven't had much need for snow removal this winter, but I'd like to acquire a front blade sometime. A hitch and plow are also on my wish list.      Now I've got the Elec-trak fever again!     Rick

At the same time I topped up the batteries, since this is an old battery pack 7yrs I decided to mix some Epson salts with Distilled water.
Other members here have tried this old trick and had some success reviving old batteries.

 

 

What ratio of Epsom salts to distilled water did you use ,and what results did you get? My brother and I are considering a couple more Elec-tracs being sold locally and they have older weaker batteries.  Would be nice if this was a temporary solution.    Rick
