Well, I'm happy to announce success this time. A little fiddling, a little cutting, and some welding has it making about an 8' inside diameter, I'm calling that good. As soon as I can get some gas for the welder, it comes apart for finish welding and paint.
Al, that is cool. Just don't know how to make the axle pivot unless you used some heavy springs. Once you got to a certain point with the tongue, the springs are stretched to make the axle turn also. Then the springs pull the axle back to center. Cool idea, though.
Here's some pics:

I think it will do a fine job. Now, who has some of those miniature bales?

Here's a couple more pics of it behind the MTD. I was able to turn a full 360 between the flag and the cherry picker with LOTS of room to spare.

Last pic is give an idea of the room there. I only needed about 1/2-2/3 of that for the full 360.

Boy Kenny, the geometry looks on the money. You have done very nice job on that wagon. I may need your plans now that I want one too.

Kenny, glad to hear you wagon is going in circles instead of you.

Now that's the way to do it! If it bites you, take a step back and let the problem roll around for a while.
 Way to go buddy!

Got bored and had a little gas left for the mig, so I took the front axle back out and finished it up. Decided to add some color to things. Here's a few pics for your pleasure:

I hope so, Greg! It turns pretty sharp as far as I am concerned. Now to finish this off. I would love to have some of the miniature hay bales for this.

Thanks everyone!
One thing I forgot to do was add in a stop so it does get turned to far and bind. Guess I do that after it's back together.
Today, I will start on the front wheels. They are pretty nasty and one tire has a lot of yellow on it. I'll see if the the MEK will remove that yellow like it did the silver on the other tire. I just hope they aren't loaded with tire sealer, may not get them sealed back up. They are 15X6.00-6's and tubeless.
