Heading 3 hours North to get a 1967 John Deere 112. It had been repainted and operates flawlessly. I will post some pics when I get it loaded. The price makes this trip worth it. Wish me luck!!!!

Well here she is. Its in decent shape. It's not a white glove tractor but good enough for me. It starts and runs great. Although the deck belt broke when I got it home. Oh well, I was going to replace all of them anyways. It got an oil change. I will do the rear tomorrow along with the spark plug. I had one little issue this evening. It wouldn't crank and the PTO safety switch got very hot. I removed the tank to check the rest of the wiring, then figured I would try cranking it. It worked with no issue. I don't know what that was but I may start looking for a switch. The guy also gave me this great dump trailer to go with it. The tractor also has a brass tag on the deck. It has 2 patches on it that I'm not to worried about. Sorry it took so long for the reply, just been playing.

I picked it up for 350. I would think the price is right. It runs and mows (at least it did, spindle are good!). The trailer was a bonus.

I suggest you paint the car's rims and mirrors green. It would match your nifty new tractor. I like the tractor and the car.

Thanks. I've driven that car more in the last few weeks than I did all last year. I can't get anymore tractors or the car won't fit in the garage. That car has been around a lot longer than those tractors so it gets priority on garage space. Its getting tight though. I've got wheel dollies for it in the winter, makes it nice when putting it up. Especially since I'm gonna have 2 snow blades running this year. They eat up a lot of space!! The hood is a little grainy with the fiberglass, anyone have any suggestions on what to put on there to smooth it?

Its definitely smiling. The guy before kept it outside unless he parks it in his living room. Now it gets a nice cozy garage with its son ('74 112) and and grandson ('84 212). I hope they all get along. I figured the no crank episode was from the other two having the better parking spots. After some shifting them around , not another problem. Thanks!
