Rick is a great guy and lives about five minutes away from me. I've seen a lot of interesting items in his collection which is always evolving! Thanks for posting the pics Ken!

You might want to inquire with member and site sponsor bhts (Bobs lawn and garden Here) about your center caps. I know that he has some of the "husky" style and it wouldn't surprise me if he has others as well!

That is awesome! I have a few Case farm tractors in my collection and would be happy to "store" that for you if it becomes cumbersome :laughingteeth:

I actually met Rick about 8 months ago when I was doing a job near Pittsburgh. I bought some stuff from him, so one day when I had some time, I drove up to his place, to pick it up and he and I talked Bolens stuff for an hour or 2.

Real nice guy, and nice area of PA that you guys live in.

Here's some pictures of my oil can and zippo tape measure

Did you get that zippo tape measure off e-bay a couple weeks ago?

No, I had this one for about a year now. I seen the one on ebay but since I already had one I figured I would let someone else get it.

Guess you haven't spent much time here ? I wear one as a necklace.

Get the same interest as the clock wearing guy.

Gotta fight the ladies off.

I was glad to see the tape measure go where it did, very nice find, was watching it,a few people slam E-Bay because of what somethings sell for,but you have to admit there are alot of neat old items you don't see much,if the price is to high just don't bid, this stuff is getting harder and harder to find, you restore a car and you sometimes have to bite the bullet,

I have a set of Wheel Horse caps, but they're not close to that nice, or that rare.

Dang...wish I would have seen that tape measure, I would have bid on it.

As for stuff other than attachments, I did snag a Bolens belt buckle off of eBay awhile back.

Nice one! That belt buckle is pretty neat. Is that something a sales person or parts person at a dealership would wear?

I have no idea. I'm guessing that they were for anyone that wanted them.

More of a promotional item.

i have a hood from a G-? that doesn't have the headlight holes cut out in the hood like it didn't come with them from the factory. Does anyone know what G series Bolens didn't have headlights/? (I don't have any pics of it)

The G9 did not come with them but could be added.

I have a set of hub cabs that came on my neighbors G14.Just got them off of him the other day.
They have very light rust on them. The only thing that gets me is that they don't have the Bolens logo on them but they are off of a Bolens that was bought new at a dealer.
He bought the G14 with Blower, deck,Plow and tiller and hydro lift new and still uses it for tilling and plowing. He won't ever sell it.

It's on it's 2nd replacement 14hp OHV Tecumseh engine. He bought the replacement engine new off the dealer when the original engine started smoking and was getting down on power.

He's an older gentleman (88) and loves his Bolens.He's had a few including a 600,900,1050,G10 and G14.
He's a cool guy to shoot the bull with. :rolling:
