I sure hope all our members in OK are safe and sound tonight. I just don't understand why these idiots do these sort of things. I guess Alan was right some one spilled coffee on their genetic blue prints.

We have a front coming through later this evening. Slight chance of showers, but the wind will switch from SW to a N wind. The smoke plume has made some showers develop over West Tulsa.

The one in Mannford is believed to have started from someone burning a brush pile. It's in Creek county now so that the county just west of Tulsa.

We have 2 members here that are in the path, but they should be far enough away KennyP and Jpcubs.

With the wind shift this evening, the fires will shift direction. If it gets to me, Tulsa has a problem. I'm in the N.E. part of town. The fire a Mannford is more west of me than south.

I think there is another fire down there, south of Muskogee.

Channel 6 was showing something down there. I thought the fire at Mannford was far enough away, Channel 6 was showed the smoke plume getting close to Haskell and there right. I can't smell it yet, it must be high up.

Is that the same fire, or a different one?

Glencoe is out by the 412 split to Stillwater. Different fire. Drumright is SW of Mannford, same fire.

This mornings radar is showing some rain around the Drumright/Mannford areas. Waiting for the local news to come on to get updates. Hopefully, the wind shift last night helped on the fires.

There was a fire near the Walmart in Coweta, and another in the Stone Bluff area.
