While on a bike ride over lunch a week ago I thought I saw a familiar seat back/tractor outline/profile, today I altered my ride and stopped for a closer look.
here is what I found

I may try to contact the owner next week.

How about turning that may into a will and try and snatch that up.

my money tree isn't handling this hot dry summer well, so that's where the may comes from.

Chuck it looks to be all there....pretty sure I am seeing the front pto clutch on the front of the motor and the fact that the rear crank handle for the hitch looks silver is a good sign. And looks like seat cushions may be original....now just got to get the owner to want you to have it! Hope it works out! Outside of the motor......the rear differential and the cluster gears are the other things to look for......if you put it in neutral and push it and it trys to lock up then expect issues with the rear differential (don't ask me how I know..yes I have one that was like that).....and if you can get the top off of the transaxle (shifter ) and look to see what type of condition is the custer gear in......that covers most of the main issues that I am aware of with this model. Good luck!

Wasn't back in town until earlier, but left work early to come to the doctor, and will take a sick day the rest of today. My sinuses are killing me.

Hope you get better asap Chuck. Sinus infection sure can be nasty. Usually leads to inner ear infection with me.

Looking at the picture again...has the tecumseh 10hp on it.....that steering wheel is on I think the later series models so I am guessing late 60's.....Daniel may have a better grasp of this. Both seat cushions are there and both look to be original.
Hopefully they are looking to sell and willing to let it go for a good price. Good luck!

You're right about the steering wheel. Likely late 68 or later year. I'm beginning to wonder if some later ones came with white painted rims. I've seen quite a few with white rims, and I think most were later models. Ya gotta buy this Chuck, so you can see if there is yellow paint under those white rims!

:laughingteeth: :laughingteeth: That has got to be the best reason I've ever heard, to buy a GT.
