Very nice. It's raining here today so I can't mow my field. I'm going to get started on the seat part today. The back rest will have to wait. I'll post pictures of my progress.


FYI, on this, no pattern, just oversized piece and I went with spray adhesive to hold er instead. Only stiching was logo (used r.cement 1st)

Cool! Where did you find the Bolens logo or did you make it yourself somehow? That came out pretty nice. Although IMO, your old seat wasn't even that bad in the first place. I have seen MUCH worse!

The logo is the same exact piece from post #7, The rips in the original seat cover, although seemingly minor had allowed water penetration and started an ugly rust theme to the seat pan. The leatherette material used was repurposed from a couch I disposed of years ago.
