on these hot summer days when you know a cool, crisp green salad is in your near future but the same old, same old for dressings is getting to you, try a few spoonfulls of cottage cheese on top with just a tweek of salt and pepper,is surprisingly good considering the limited flavor of cottage cheese. It will even be a better lower cal choice for those looking to "lose".

I like salads, and I like cottage cheese, but not together!
I like cottage cheese with tomatoes or pineapple., or just plain!....I like cottage cheese and I have even seen it made at the dairy!
I have an uncle that is 10 months older than me and when I was about 1 year old, he was feeding me Holland Dairy Cottage Cheese. My grandma took a picture of this and sent it in to the dairy during a contest, and won a wrist watch!

No problem al,sometimes you just have to throw it out there and its down to personal taste. the pizza places are throwing all sorts of things on a pizza these days, chicken this, taco that, cant stand any of them. one of the odd sounding but incredible tasting pizzas is ham and pineapple, has been common here in canada for decades but never heard of in a lot of the states, have you heard of it/become popular where you are. need real hawiian pineapple for that, puerto rican just doesnt cut it for flavor,it would be like getting your coffee beans from lower slobovia,if it aint colombian it aint right. edit>and no stinkin seafood

If you liked that weird combo ill just throw 1 more at you, sweet chip pickles"bread and butter" with a slice of processed cheese on white bread, simple but surprisingly tasty.

The FIL likes cheddar cheese on apple sauce on bread, toasted in the oven. It's good.

Throw a big slice of pineapple in there, and it just might be a Hawiian Bunwhich.

When my Dad was growing up, there were some pretty lean years. One of the things he used to eat as a snack has stuck with him and I even have it once in a while as an evening snack... makes my wife cringe tho.

Crush up about 1/3 a tube of saltines in a bowl, add milk & enjoy. Kind of like salted cereal.

I hadn't thought of that. I may have to get my creative juices flowing and head out to the kitchen.

You never what I may have to throw out....I mean come up with.

a thin slab of medium or even sharp cheddar on apple pie is awesome, gives it that tang that cream cheese adds to some desserts
