Well I also got a low hr. 14 V-twin briggs out of a 1440 Cub to use in my MF10 Vari-Drive. Can't wait to see how it going to drive and mow. I'll get some pictures also.

You will love the Briggs Vanguard motor. I have a 1641 Cub with the 16 in it . As far as I'm concerned they are the best Briggs engine made to date. Extremely smooth operation. That thing will fire up in -20 cold first or second roll over. Can you tell I like the v-twins. Best of luck on the install. Can't wait to see pics

I loved my dad's V-twin vanguard swap so much I been waiting along time to install one in my MF10. I agree they are the best Briggs made.

That should be a sweet ride when done. The MF10 is one of my favourites to run.
I'm looking forward to seeing pictures of the install.

Just out of curiosity, are all the Vanguard engines 14hp and up as good and what years of engine to look for?
