Dane, Nice lookn Shaw. I'll do some checking to see what engine it had originally. Like Amigatec says, you need inside and outside dimensions to find a seal. If your lucky it will have a number.

Dane, does your Shaw still have the tag on it? If so, can you post the actual model desgnation? I think you need an NR6 to be original but that would help confirm it.

I talked to Clifford B. about it. It is a early 1940's Model H-2. It is supposed to have a Briggs NR6. I plan to restore it as it is, and if I run across a NR6 I will replace it and use this engine as a stationary engine for at shows.
