August 2nd through 5th 2012 Just wanted to be sure that I put this in the events forum. This is one of the local shows that I've been attending for years. It's a great show and the flea market is one of the better ones in the area. The name of the club that hosts the show is "Northwest PA Steam engine and old equipment association" and their website can be found Here. Hope to see some of our membership there!

That is one of the shows I have been wanting to go to since I heard of it and saw pics from last year! It will be a few years before I ever get the chance to go to any of these bigger shows or plow days.

I was there and met up with Caseguy and MH81. Both are outstanding guys and I thank them for the help concerning my dads scooter. I'm afraid I mislead you with my screen name. I was thinking of another forum wihen I told you pond1954. On here, I am David Brown. Sorry for the confusion.

Good show but very HOT and miserable. I had my Pond and Speedex B up there and just enjoyed the show with my dad and daughter. It was, however, good to get home to the AC and a shower.

Al, I see the bag in my truck was gone. I hope you were the one that got it. If not, I hope they know where to upload the pics! It was great meeting you and Steve!

Jeff,
Thanks so much for babysitting my camera. I had no intention of getting delayed that long. Yes, it was me that got it.

As a matter of fact, two guys kind of stopped me and asked what I was doing. Nicely, but they were keeping an eye open. Gotta love GT folk watching out for each other.

Hope Dads scooter isn't anything major. A good charge may be all it needs, but it sure is acting weird. If the scooter people say the batteries are bad, now may be a good time to ask about bigger capacity batteries.

And if any of you get a chance to meet Jeff and his family, don't pass up the chance. They are good people. Friendly & genuine.

Good to hear that things are watched over that well up on garden tractor hill. For anyone who hasn't displayed at this show, the folks are pretty easy going and let you do pretty much what you want within reason of course. They don't have a whole lot of rules like other shows. I've been displaying my tractors there for close to 25 years now and have not had a problem. It's not a huge show but it is nice (and shady for the most part).

It was very nice to meet Jeff and his family! Jeff had a 1954 Pond tractor on display that his Father bought brand new! His Father was in attendance at the show despite the heat and seemed to be having a great time meeting old friends and making some new ones! It was definitely a little on the warm side (even in the shade, which there is plenty of) but that didn't dampen the spirits of the great people at the show!

On a side note here, Alan and Steve, we got dad's scooter fixed. It was the batteries. Thanks again for your help.
