Well, Long time no talk, Long story short, I bought an SS12 at the jacktown engine show this past weekend and it doesnt have a deck, but I was able to find one and need to know if it will fit this one or not sometime before 8am tomorrow(sat), which is when im traveling over an hour to buy it from a guy. I am including pics of my tractor which i have somewhat found to be about a 1967?? Also I am including the CL ad that gives a part number of the deck which is what I am going to look at tomorrow. Thanks for any help guys!!

I'm not sure on that deck.My SS15 had a diferent deck than that one.It was a Square deck. The mounts look a bit diferent on that deck.

I found a pic of a 65 super 12 with that deck on it.So it may be an earlier deck.

I'de get it heck it's only $50 and it's in near perfect condition.Make sure you get the front mounting hardware.

I don't have my print out of the model years but yours looks to be a 67 or 68 and that deck will fit as long as all the mounting hardware is there. As for the pic Eric posted that is around a 1970 model and not a 65. The round fenders started around 67 or 68 and the full running boards around 69 or so.

Other than the lift handle being on the opposite side, It looks like my replacement deck on my SS12. It is a 69, but the deck was purchased by the PO in the late 70's

the 69 manual I have only shows a bottom view of the deck, but the rectangular areas above the blades are there in both pictures.

I wish I could be definitive, but I'm 95% sure she will go right on, assuming you get all the stuff to mount it.

I did find a picture of the cover of a manual for that model deck & it is under a Suburban.

Thats a 1967 Sears Super 12. If you buy deck mounts for it, you can run either style mowing deck on it. Nice machine, Ill be looking for a video soon, Im pacificdrumma, I watch your vids :)
