I'm looking for info on a set of wheel weights that are hanging on the front of my Kubota tractor. Just curious what these are supposed to go on. They look to be IH with a cast number of "370 685 R1" any ideas? OD is 14.25" and hole pattern is about 10". Thanks for any help.

I think that in Daniel's Bush Hog wheel weight thread he said that all IH parts end in R1. I could be wrong. I will go look for you.

Ryan, Thanks for the input. When I was inspecting them and saw the IH symbol (see the 3rd pic) or what looks like the IH I figured they what they were. What has me stumped is the size of them. They are too big for most GT wheels... 14.25" OD. So what tractor do they go on???

Someone from "only cub cadets" pointed me in the right direction and they seem to be weights for the front of a farmall 504. Here is a current ebay listing:

There were also Cub Lo Boy compact tractors that might have that size wheel. My JD2320 has 16.5" rims and those would be close to fitting.

I had some weights that looked something like these...they were for a David Bradley walk behind.

They were for Farmall tractors made in the late 50's early 60's. Would fit things like the 504 you mentioned as well as 340's and others. You see them a lot on 560's and 460's.

As for ending in R1, IH part numbers that end in R1 were the first version of that part. Everytime they modified a particular part in some way they changed the suffix on the end. Other suffixes you see a lot of include R2 and R91. It was a way of telllling the difference in the same part whether it was an old version or updated one.

P.S. I didnt read the link so maybe I am wasting my time typing this if its allready explained. LOL!!!!

Farmall Cub and Cub Lowboy front wheel weights were the same as the rear cub cadet wheel weights. The Cub and Lowboy shared the same rear wheel weight and they were much bigger and about 4 inches thick.

Thanks for all of the input guys. I've not checked the bolt pattern on my Kubota rears but it would be nice if I could put these on the inside.

They fit fronts on a number of full size IH tractors. 140, 240, 340, 404, 424, 504, 656, and more with 16" rims. If these have the same bolt pattern, they should work great on the big wheel Case GT's.
