I'm ok, but he won't be driving that pickup anymore.

Hope your back and neck will feel alright in the morning. I was little sore after that happened to me. Guy must have been on his phone?

Dang! Did you have anyone on board? I've had two bad episodes of whiplash and I'm paying for it now. I cannot turn my head to look over my shoulders any more!

Glad you are okay! Wow I would say that was major damage to the front end of that pickup!

Hope you are OK. Damage to that truck is not as bad as you think. Mostly plastic and pressed beer cans make up that front end.

He definitely hit you pretty hard. You should probably get checked out even if you do feel alright. I got rearended when I was about 19 and never went to get checked out and is more then likely the cause of the back issues I have.

I am curious as some of the others... Was the guy on his phone not paying attention?

Boy that must have been quite an impact. He must have been daydreaming or something. I hope the van was empty! Glad you are OK!

I had a patient on board and and an Escort employee. I was sitting at a red light. The driver of the truck never hit the brakes and plowed me at about 40 mph. I thought it had killed him, when I looked in his truck. I didn't see him and the cab full of smoke from the airbags. Finally I sae him between the seats of the truck. Finally he got back into the drivers seat, but he didnt look very good. I called 911 and got help there. They took the other driver to the hospital on a back board with a neck brace. The patient I was transporting was complaining about his ankle hurting, he had injured it in Iraq, I left bad for him. He also has PTSD, and the crash got him very nervous. He was treated and released. After the police got finish I drove the van back the to VA Hosp in Muskogee and was told I HAD report to the ER and be checked out. The Escort had to checked as well. We are fine. I don't know if the other driver blacked out or was drunk, I don't know. This all happened about 8:15 this morning. I will be sore in the morning,

He won't be driving that truck anymore. Pushed the motor into the firewall and turned it sideways, if it did that it probably broke the transmission loose as well.

I felt really bad for the patient I was transporting, he was my biggest concern, he has been through so much already.
