I guess you could always weld the crack but it would have to be ground down and I Still think you would see the weld.
I need one for my Ride-a-Matic... I think I'll offer him $15

Damn. Yeah, maybe if these parts were in pristine original condition. This stuff has been pretty abused though (crack in the grille, paint all but chipped and faded away to nothing, rust spots, etc...) I think maybe he accidentally misplaced some decimal points or added an extra zero someplace where it doesn't belong! :bigrofl:

WOW! .....Did you see the prices on his store's site?

The Wisconsin & Bolens prices seem way out of line.

Of course, I'm old and remember what things used to sell for. ....Maybe I'm just out of touch with reality.

I don't know if a NOS would be worth what he is asking for some of that stuff!

This is getting pretty crazy. It's getting to the point where you won't be able to afford to rebuild anything!

That's the same guy that I bought the Front PTO from.

The one that I thought was used and turned out to be NOS.

Price on that wasn't too bad. $149,99 which I didn't think was unreasonable.

I do agree that some of his other stuff has some 'strange' pricing though.

The bad thing is that some bigger dummy will pay his outrageous price and then he will feel completely justified in charging more for the next one.

I have people call me all the time with a junk vehicle and when I tell them my price they get offended and say it's worth more than that and they will just keep it. I always calmly tell them that they have that right and if they change their minds to call me back. Many times I get a call back a year or so later. Usually after they have dealt with 40 other people who say they will give them several hundred on the phone then show up and say it is only worth $50. Some folks just don't realize that junk is junk.
