I have aquired a B-112 tractor that is in decent condition. It has the original sticker and the serial number reads 020088. What year was it made and how many years did they make this model? Is this serial number somewhat low for this tractor?

any information wil help so far i have come up empty-handed

Your Tractor is between 1967--1969

In 1967, Allis-Chalmers opened a new plant in Lexington, South Carolina to build garden tractors. The first models built there were the B-207, B-110, B-112 and HB-112. The B-208, B-210, B-212, and HB-212 were introduced in 1970.

Neither Allis-Chalmers nor Simplicity has ever released any information linking serial numbers to build dates on their garden tractors.

The closest method of dating your tractor is from the engine build date, if your tractor still has it's original engine. The tractor build date should probably be within a couple of months, or so, of the engine build date.
