I got home from my latest trip to Charlotte and had some time to till in the garden. The rain finally stopped long enough for the soil to dry. I hooked the tiller to the Bolens 800 and made several passes. The old gal did a pretty good job. After helping George work on the tranny, it was great to have it shifting like it should.I would have done more but wanted to get some grass mowed.

Not a GT but still OPE and lawn related. I got the 5hp string trimmer out last night and knocked down the tall grass around the house and did most the trimming. Tomorrow I plan on getting the yard mowed, swept and overseeded.

Got the engine all hooked up in the Ford, today. Got to go for a ride. No smoking at all, still have carb issue at idle, just not as bad. Need to find a way to get a load on the engine so rings can seat in. But I am HAPPY!

After getting things put back together on the Ford, I decided to go Joy Riding around the neighborhood. Saw a pile of dirt in a guys yard, stopped an asked about it. He said I could have it, so off to the house for the trailer and shovel. Three loads later, it was done. I have about 3 hours on the new rings now. No smoke and running good. Getting easier to fire. WOOHOOO!

Got to plow the lower Garden. Maybe with some luck I can get some seeds in the ground soon.

I cut grass! Adam has a deck on the 1250 now and he let me make a few passes on it. He has a stack on that beast, so I could only take the noise so long. Feels like Spring though!

Did some serious tilling with an HT23 Bolens, and finally got one of the Bolens Power Ho's together enough to ride around the yard on the sulky.
