yeah I only got to use my blower 2 times. We really have not had any significant snowfall in a while. Most of the time its been about 1'' or less and the blower likes 3'' or more to work well.

Don't worry guys, as winter is young! There will be more snow to blow.

I was looking at moisture levels in the soil around here, and if we never got another flake all winter, it would be a good thing.

I got a few minutes to play with the 2 inches we got this afternoon. More's coming & I'll have lots to push, but I wanted to play with the Custom:D

The first vid is of the 7, the 2nd is 20 seconds when I was plowing with the GT5000 just to show how much quieter it is.

Yes, I know I stalled it. The engine is 40 some years old & it could use some loving, that & I popped the clutch. :blush2:

We are supposed to get around 3'' so I may actually get to use the blower for a change!
I'll see how it looks tomorrow and I may get some video

You can definitely tell the difference in engines LOL

Had 6" of wet, heavy, weapons grade snow to blow this morning. The clearcoat made a differance, 45-60 min. in the seat and not one clog.
sorry no pics or vid.

Billy, Glad to hear you're clog-free! I got seat time myself, then put some "Helper" springs on my plow & had my son plow a little... even with the helpers, he's pulling himself "light" in the seat & activating the seat switch... Did you know Kohler Commands backfire when they go from 3/4 throttle to shutdown & back on in 1/2 a second?

Wow was that loud.

Tomorrow we take down the Christmas lights in the county park across from my house. There is about 14 inches of snow in the park. I took my Snapper 1650 and blower and made a path through the park so we at least have a clean path to walk in some of the way.

LMAO, I bet it was quite the eye opener. All the safetys were already bypassed or gone on the G12 so I'm only in the seat for ballest...I've been thinking about butting some springs somewhere to help lift the caster though...
Oh, I forgot to mention that I spotted some little pieses of scrap in the bin at work earlier this week that looked like they would stack nicely in the tray under the seat pan...lo and behold they did :) and got an extra 42 lbs. on the drive axle...nice, very nice :)
And I like those chains in your last post.

Got some serious seat time tonight. 6" on the ground at 6PM. Got it all off just in time for it to throw another inch & it's still coming... slacking off but still snowing.

Had another 4" yesterday before dark so I went out to play again. This time there's video :) It's uploading now, but it's kinda big, so it'll be a while...
