That hood ornament came like that on the tractor!

Apparently Instagram makes a good photo editing outfit too...

Whip lash this morning. Moved the tractors out for a camp out and movie time in the shop last night. Got up this morning and moved the tractors closer to the shop incase it decides to rain. Well I got on Old Girl and fired her up, put in 2nd HI and let the clutch out slow.... Bang! Clutch grabbed, popped a wheelie, seat spring bottomed out (thank goodness for the Hi-back seat) and literally jumped off the pergola. Middle of my back now has a kink now. I checked the clutch operation in the grass, works fine now.

The Gravely and I finished cleaning up the ditch, the mulch from stump grinding will go around the new row of trees.

IMG_1045.JPG IMG_1046.JPG IMG_1047.JPG

Then the new YardMan string trimmer made an appearance. I say new, but what I mean is the one my FIL bought at the Home Depot last year when his 25 year old WeedEater died. He buys new, I get old broken one. I fix old one, he hates new one, trades me (ie, steals back) old one for new one. You can pick your friends.....

IMG_1048.JPG

Then I fired up the Simp ZTR to mow the ditch for the first time this year and nearly filled the bags in four rounds that were about 150 feet long.

Sorry, no pics here! Fixed the fuel lines in two of my daughters 'Weed Eaters'. Got those running. Cleaned and painted the last part of the Cub lift, plus a few miscellaneous pieces. Took the FF20 down and moved the trailer out. Also the 4000 lb engine hoist. I was after the wheel chair lift. Used the AC 416 to mow soe in that area since everything was moved out. Waiting to supper ton get done.

F725 did't work yesterday, probably the PTO switch, so I started mowing with the 755 this afternoon.  Halfway through the front yard the deck belt gave up, pulled the deck & replaced the belt, then finished mowing the yard!

Started plowing the garden up the day before yesterday with the Sears SS15 and Dad finished the plowing today. Then I disc with the SS15 and finished up with my homemade drag on the back of the wheelhorse. We going to plow it again and up to finally kill out the weeds.

Yesterday I mowed with the 1211 and then got the 100 and 108 out just to ride the kids around and run some gas through them, my wife's a bit of an amateur photographer so I had her take a few pics for me.

Went faster than normal... mild pulley swap happening on the moto mower. All I really use it for is a butt buggy, so it wont hurt anything.

Moved the wagon full of tree trimmings off the field after dumping it to make "one big who... of a pile" for a brush fire later. Roper was kinda slow starting today, maybe angry about sitting outside for several days...

The village had a parade today.

One of the grandsons was wanting to drive a G.T. in the parade, so of course I said yes.

Here's the line up in the back yard before everyone showed up.

The John Deeres are set up with a parade hitch and I actually pulled them with the Elec-Trak.

The wife and I, two grandsons and a granddaughter drove over behind the school to the staging area and were joined by two others.

I don't have any pictures of the parade.  But we all enjoyed ourselves.    Rick

Pulley swap requires a smaller belt, could not climb any hills without belt slip...

Nice Gravely.  Is it a Comm 10a or a Comm 12?  Someday mine may look that nice.
