Well, I'm teaching my wife to operate the Speedex.

After a couple previous incidents with our previous lawn tractor she'd been banned from operating power equipment.  We got her a trailer load of mulch for the flower beds and I don't want to have to drop what I'm doing every 5 minutes to pull the tractor and trailer forward 10 feet.

She's having some struggles, particularly backing up, but she's making progress.  She looked real proud driving the tractor back to the shed after we were done last night, wish I'd been ready to snap a picture.

Today was fix another mower. Then I got to watch a neighbor try to break ground for a garden with a Troybilt pony. Which was not working out to well. So I took the Gravely over and made a garden tonight. Very hard ground made for a jumpy ride.

Well I mowed last weekend, so this weekend it looks like me and the Poulan Pro weed whacker will be spending quality time.

I put BOH and RED to work today, BOH moved trailers while RED Mowed the back two acres. Took time to go down the path in the back 40 for photos and to mow the path. Came in to watch the race at Bristol, Raining there, so I'll mow the front acre now. (Have to (bee) careful in the front yard, they are getting active.

I got the 226 out to till my ornamental grass cuttings into the garden. Should add some nice organic matter to the soil. Couple weeks away from planting.

Here's a good one for a laugh!

Built new retaining wall with tractor.

Used box blade and cutter to dig it. Used tractor to drag the ties. Then used rear bucket to add about 25 loads of dirt, mulch, and gravel to fill.

To my credit, the ramps worked for a week, until it rained, and I pushed my luck. Got the gravel spread though! Mission Accomplished!  :D

Moved some more of the rounds my dad and I cut down. Made 4 or 5 trips, the 208 is ready for more, but I called it quits for now. 1105b01addfa7389bb6045ac72fec531.jpgae1662301b2ec69ad2f68504433e3f83.jpg

Hauled 5 wagons of chicken caca with the roper rt16

Then broke the mounting for the seat...

Then hauled 6 more loads with the moto mower 6020...

All in 2" of ice pellets and freezing rain.
