Finally got enough snow to put the tractors in service. George's Massey 12 has been in the garage all winter waiting to see some action. This area received between 10 to 16 inches of snow. I got George's Massey 1655 with the FEL from the pole barn yesterday and we had that in the garage also. Glad I got it down to the garage because it sure helped out today. I took a few pics to share including what our driveway looks like now.

We got about 26 inches of snow in about 15 hours. After 7 hours of scoop after scoop and pushing the piles farther and higher, Old Jake gets to rest for the night. The fourwheeler with chains would be like trying to take out a sherman tank by ramming into it with tricycle. Plowed deep snow before and know that the 1960 Willys truck would have to just bash the piles back. Slow is fast, try to go fast and break some thing then you can't even go slow. Just dead in the water. I will try do some pics tomorrow.

Yesterday I cleared our driveway. Today I cleared the neighbor's. Used the B10 and Tri-Belt Simplicity snowblower. Got about 2 feet of snow. I really need to find the correct blower for the B10. This one is too small.

Plowed the drifting snow. It was fun blasting thru the drifts compared to yesterday's heavy stuff.

Well we dug more today as we got about 3 more inches from the sky gods, as we don't have enough already. Injuries sustained after about 11 hours run time were one fouled plug upon restart after running out of gas and lost the E clip off the governor. Garbage bag twisty tie saved the day, fit the groove perfect. Snow plow only made one single pass down the road and I knew I would have to clean up the end of the driveway. Got up this morning to go to work to find a four foot snow wall at the end of the driveway. Had fun scooping and using the backhoe to break up the frozen mess.  Glad I put in for two days vacation for the storm, so this is what I did with my tractor today.

Got some seat time!  :dancingbanana: Since the box blade was on Alice, thought I would stir things up some.Yes there is dirt showing, but a bunch of gravel under it. Worked the area from the shop back around to the front parking. We drive through the front area a lot so I pulled as much as I could right now into there.

Also made 3 passes to the back for Aaron. I noticed this was getting low where the tires ran so just took a little off to level it back up some.

I used my Cub 149 today to help me clean-up the front of my shop.  It ran really good today and my back appreciated that I bought it.

If I get everything cleaned up my wife says that I can get another tractor.

The background of the first photo shows you how messy the front of the shop was.

Now I just need to tell my wife what tractor I wanted to buy. :D

I filled the roller, and fired up one of the cubs.  I rolled my yard and one of the neighbors.

We are supposed to get some rain late this week.  I'll roll my yard again and that of another neighbor after that.  Rick

After looking at the pictures, I'll be power washing the side of the workshop!!
