I used the Murray to pull my garbage cans to the road, my back hurts so I gave it a break. Call me lazy...

Nah, not lazy.

My dad keeps telling me "work smarter, not harder"

We had grandkids today, so it's more like what they did today.  I had to put some good tires on an old cart I made several years ago. Then the grandson (11) and granddaughter (9)  used it and the 782 to help Grandma in the flower beds. And haul some bricks and urns.

I had to put a seat on the sulky.   I hooked it up to a ranch king with limited travel on the hydrostat control arm for safety.  Then they took turns driving us around the yard. We managed to get a little work and a lot of grins out of them.    Rick

Finished dethatching the yard, and then gave it a bath. I will need new bristles before this winter, I think.

After it dries, I will lube it up. It is not needed until winter now.

Ok. I cheated. It's not one of my Suburbans but I didn't have time to turn over, disc, drag harrow and till my garden. I used my neighbor's five foot PTO tiller and was finished in 45 minutes. Not bad considering what I started with. It also makes me want to sell some stuff and get in the market for a bigger tractor. . image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg

I attacked a large Cedar bush with the "crew". After two loads the first bush was trimmed. Moved on to the others, After the limbs were raised I mowed with RED. This was just the Front Yard. Tomorrow I'll tackle the Cedar in the drive, then move to the back yard. It was a full day work, and I'll be feeling it tomorrow.

I got tired of only working on things, so I got Alice out and hooked the box blade up. The driveway to the back had some holes in it that needed filled. Alice was up to the task and more than willing to get the exercise.

Loaded a derelict on the trailer the other day
image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg

Also used the roper with the bucket to pIck rocks and KK's commando 8 pulled the trailer around to dump into.

Used the GT5000 today to do a little mowing. Been a while since she was out due to a little repair work needing done. She's good to go now.

Mowed with the ZTR, then used the loader to put the trailer back up on the block I knocked it off of with the mower.
