I used the 4041 front loader to push over and move several stumps.

Used the ford 14 hp K series engine to cut the grass. Set the points from 19 to 23 thousands today, and it worked great. Was having trouble last week with it. Low power, running hot. Last week used 16 litres of gas, this week used 10 litres. Same amount of grass and time. And did not have it at full throttle this week, last week had to have full throttle. It had lots of power this week. Hope it keeps up, Noel.

Mowed the grass last night with the Suburban instead of the falling apart Crapsman, sooo much nicer to drive.

Then got Troybilt and small 2 cycle cultivator out, ran through the garden since we actually have had 48 hrs without rain to get rid of the weeds. I can actually tell we have veggies growing and not weeds.

The weather has been dry for about 50 hours here so a co-worker was able to haul in 5 tons of gravel this morning to help our rain and snow abused driveway. His problems are much bigger as his driveway is a mile long and that is what the rest of his day was dedicated to. The MF8E did a great job moving gravel and pulling a drag to smooth it out. Still got another 10 tons coming but until I move our cabover camper I can't get the gravel where i want it. Too soft to move the camper still! After that I was able to mow about 70% of the yard with the MF12G. Too much standing water in places to do it all. If any of you read about the Vari-drive belt breaking in the MF forums, my new one still hasn't come in yet but i remembered that the previous owner had given me a few used belts when i bought the tractor. Low and behold there was an intact one in it! Even though my wife hates my hoarding, there is sure some good reasons for not throwing this stuff away!

Put the Simplicity Power Max to work again, pushed some 25' cherry trees I cut, into the woods, hauled off and pushed away several buckets full of suckers and low limbs I pruned from my holly grove.

Well , I may be a bit off topic here, since I didn't do any actual work with them....

but I got 3 deeres and a horse out of my shop so I could sweep the floor.

Lets call it a one man parade!

Yesterday replaced the engine that detonated on the tow behind tiller. Today ran the disc and cultivator through a new garden plot, followed up with tilling to test the new engine out. Son hooked up our home-built water tender to mom's little Craftsman LT and watered the pumpkin patch on the other property. We got done early, cleaned the machines and came in before the heat hits. Now to sit back with the cad program and finish designing a new row-hipper for the other garden plot.

Russ - GT-3000

Nina - Craftsman II 13hp

Max - Snapper SR1433 (Currently undergoing a carb rebuild)

I mowed the back 1-1/2 acres with Old Girl. First test of the restored deck. My Daughter helped with RED. Now I have two to clean up.
