Got to drive Hogzilla and my Massey 1655D today.  Had to get things ready for cleaning manure from the calf barn.  Even as cold as it is, was nice firing them & driving them a little bit.  Tomorrow will be a lot of seat time between the Cat loader and the little Massey diesel's loader.

I got the 316 out today to clear 12" of snow.  An hour of enjoyment at -16° C.

Since the Sears is charging again, put the sleeve hitch on with box blade and dressed up drive some last night while it was thawed. The crushed limestone is great for packing, but this freeze thaw makes it a muddy type mess.

Here are a couple before pics, got too dark for after pics. You can see on left my first pass.
That box blade is wonderful, I do need to weld on more teeth and lower the mounting slot though so I can dig it up before leveling it off. the teeht barely touch gravel and I and grading with box without much scaring.
Dad always bought more gravel, I just dress it now.

Another evening with the Sears. Aired up the lawn trailers tires, hooked it up and proceeded to clean out the chicken coops. After a full load, notice one tire was flat :wallbanging:  Just had to drive into garden and unload on the rim and he garden was a slimey mess. You know it's muddy when your ags look like racing slicks.

I have to say cleaing chicken coops at 35* in Jan smells much better than at 90* in July  or at least has less smell :D

I plowed some snow today. It turned to rain before I had gotten started. So it was wet and heavy. I had to add more weight to get any traction. Actually had to use some down pressure or the plow would ride up over. It gave more seat time than was expected for 4-5 inches that we got.

Today, nothing as it has been raining turned to snow about 4pm.  Yesterday I run the Bradley with the bare mower through the dill patch to knock it down.  Put it in the machine shed to stay out of the storm that is moving in.  Then fired the Gardener up (2 pulls) and headed to the garden with the plow and cleaned out the drainage furrows that were filled in with dirt.  Way to wet but got it done.  Washed it off and put it in the shed for safe keeping.   Brought the 1053 with the thrower up and backed it in the garage.  It is ready for what ever hits up.  Talking 3-7" later tonight and tomorrow.  If that happens it would be the first time this year we got enough snow to use anything.

My son took his 64 DB 725 out and hooked up our 4x8 yard trailer to clean up brush/down branches in the field.

He got to learn about skinny ags tires with no weight pulling a loaded trailer in a field that was a partly frozen slimey mess. Good thing it only goes 4 mph as he didn't tear the field up.

24F here with stiff winds.  But Hogzilla fired off without the block heater, just needing the glow plugs.  Used it to till up the open calf pen of fresh weaned calves to pull up good sawdust underneath.  Just 20 minutes or so of seat time, but I'll take it!

Pulled the blown KT19 Kohler engine out of my Ariens GT19, and measured the frame and engine compartment to see if my Ruggerini RD200 will fit in it... it will--just barely, and assuming I don't want to turn the wheels or use the front PTO :smilewink:

(Actually, I think it may fit if I pull out the Ross steering gear box and install an orbital type power steering valve--I just need to get Pager 450 over to look at it and give me his opinion).
