I brought back the PK w/fel from my sons the other night so there were a few job waiting it's return .   First was using the back blade to repair the washed out driveway ,  filled the bucket with stones that I lay along the garden edge as I found them ,  turn over the compost pile .  Next was use the Jim Dandy with the rotor-tiller to prepare the area in the garden I plant sorghum in the summer and rye for the winter . After seeding another light tilling and brought the JD 318 to compact the surface .

Got the 2130 Cub out today and broadcasted 2 bushel of rye and one bushel of oats. Got to get a couple more bushel of rye for the rest of the gardens. I think I will work on getting the International drill field ready for the rest.

The only thing I did today was buy send and hook to the disk, we finally got about 1" of rain here in West Central AL and I plan on pulling that disk all day tomorrow.

On Sunday I finally got a chance to play with my tractor. I didn't do much. went around the pastures a few times and got some of the weeds cut down. now i know what my husband is talking about when he talks about his tractor time. you can get a lot of thinking down when you are going around those circles!

Actually on Saturday, but....

Had to clean up a couple limbs before they fell on my shed so the boy and I did some clean up of some fallen/dead limbs, trees in the field.

Taught the son how to use a chain saw and he got his first shot at it. He is very apprehensive about trying something new so I was apprehensive too. He cut a few logs with it and then was done, "this feels uncomfortable" so it's all good. He will get more confidence if he uses it more, at least he got a feel for it after asking me to teach him.

anyway, pic hauling firewood up to the pile to split!  Drug log splitter out of barn, fired right up after sitting 3 yrs!  :rocker2:

Used the 120 to mow the back yard last night.  It seems that it is not charging the battery so I need to figure out the problem.  I used my $7-for-a-headgasket Snapper 21" self-propelled mower on the front yard.

I did some donuts on the Pennsylvania Panzer. I know the paint is wrong, but I have plenty of others to mess with and this one runs just fine for now.

I ground few stumps and then piled up the chips with the front mounted blade.

Yep, the Mitsubishi KE70. Only used for the first couple of years, they went to a 3 cylinder after that. Mine is only 15 hp, and has that two cylinder clank at less than half throttle. But it runs forever on three gallons of fuel.

Thanks Cat, I have a 2cyl. yanmar 16hp that probably sounds about the same, they really will lug down and keep pulling though.

What I did made me sick to my stomach! Working on a welding/fabrication project in my shop, NOT paying attention to a piece of square tubing that I leaned up against the roll up door, forgot that I did and opened the door to get something from my truck and then I hear "bam bam ssccrraattcchh" !!!! I stood there weak in the knees. For 10 years I was always careful after I restored it. Only has 42 hrs since resto. I just quit what I was doing, closed shop and went to the house~  This is what I seen this morning~
