Finished the repairs on my Neighbor's GT5000 this morning..  I would have had it done last night but he bought some 30W oil and as I was pouring it into the tractor THEN I noticed it was 'Non-Detergent' :wallbanging:   :wallbanging:   Now I have a gallon of air compressor oil but am almost out of 30W..  (Gotta go shopping myself next time!) :(

After filling that up and lubing it I broke out the JD 425 set to rolling our lawn and the neighbor's too..  Put the roller awaw and now the oil's draining out of it for the spring tune-up..

Tried out the 314 mowing grass for the first time yesterday. Did good but I'll have to see about easing the steering.effort. I greased the steering gearbox real good last fall while working on it. Had a squeak in the steering shaft and dumped some oil down the shaft housing and got rid of the squeak. Greased the spindles good. I may see if I can drill and tap the rod ends for  1/4" x 28 zerks. Any suggestions otherwise besides removing the gearbox and rebuild it.

Did some needed maintenance to my Massey 8, then used it to mow my yard and my neighbor's yard.  Freshly sharpened blades cut like a real treat, and improved governor response helped keep the blade speed up.  Lawn is looking really good where there is actual grass.  Freshly cut weeds don't look too bad.

hauled the jd up my friends to mow his yard(hay field) the deck was set up to cut a 2" and the grass was 4"s taller then the deck. it could use some sharper blades but it did a great job considering how high the grass was

After doing some maintenance to my new-to-me tiller I made two stips down the garden... 6' x 75' tilled in 10 minutes. WOW, this thing is awesome!

Great job on the tiller.  What model Kubota is that?  I had a B5100E that looked alot like yours.  Nice garden tilling.

Tonight, I had planned to perhaps plow with the Elec-Trak, but time ran out.  I just hopped on it and drove it around for about 2 minutes at dad's place.  It was a long winter and I missed it.  It was very fun.

Hello everyone, not anything big going on with my GT's. 10 days ago I was pushing a foot of snow with the MF8E and today I took off work and mowed with the MF12G! Didn't get any pics of snow removal this time but here is a couple from today, cleaning up the 12 after several hours of trouble free service. Before anyone says anything about the pulley covers missing from the cutting deck, I had to remove them as they would pack up with twigs and grass clumps, then it would start smelling like a brush fire with a little rubber smoke mixed in!-LOL
