My tractor taught me a couple lessons today.
Oversized Ag type tires are no substitute for good chains on ice.
Single stage blowers work hard to get rid of wet stuff.
If you don't chisel all the ice off your tin pan seat, expect it to melt and soak thru the Carharts to the undies.
Wet Carharts will freeze to a cold tin pan seat.
In spite of my lessons, I had a good time doing snow removal. Between the SS12 and the GT6000, the job wasn't what you'd call work.
Thanks for sharing. We can all take a lesson from your experiences. I have never been a big believer in ags on ice. Two years ago my JD
110H with ags had frozen into about an inch of ice. I cranked it over and it broke free right away, but sat there clunking up and down in it's own "ag" ruts.
