Loaded the finish mower down with stuff to haul to the shed (yes I'm using it as a trailer). After that I pulled up a couple of posts from a privacy fence I'm taking down. Then I used it as a tow truck to pull an old freebie mower from around back and put it in the garage so I can start stripping it down (see pic).

edit!! I forgot, when the wife and kids got home my oldest (2 years last week) got all excited and wanted to go for a ride... So of course I rode her around the place for a bit.

Spent some time in the garden today. The second planting of corn was finished, so I cut down the stalks and piled them to one side. I plan to burn them when they dry and mix the ashes back into the soil. Hopefully, that will kill any pests being harbored by the old stalks, but will still return the nutrients to the soil. The I used my Gravely to cultivate and loosen before using my Dump Massey to plow. Did that differently today also, I usually go round and round. Today, I would plow, then back up and plow again.

I've been working on getting a choke cable installed, then I need to move the muffler so that the grill has clearance and install that. Seems like there is always something more important.

I mowed for two hours or so with my JD LT155 lawn tractor. Then I continued plowing for a future food plot with the Cub Cadet 147.

I started a couple weeks ago.

Today I mowed the weeds and tall grass, then plowed more. We had some recent rain, which helped the plowing.

My boys were patient for about an hour as I plowed, then we loaded them into the cart and took a long ride through the woods.

Yesterday I went to the Saegertown PA Show with my SS12. Didn't get much seat time in, but my jaw muscles are sore from all the talking and laughing. It was a nice day.

I actually had to mow my yard today! The recent rains have made my yard come back alive, so the Kubota G4200 is finally seeing action again! I think she was glad to be ran a while! I know I was glad! :dancingbanana:

I know what you are saying, we moved into the new house two weeks ago and the yard was brown... now it's doing great.

I spent some time taking down an old privacy fence that was not put up right and was not maintained... The little duece pulled trailer duty while the bota was pulling posts up out of the ground. I can't imagine how bad my back would hurt after pulling these posts by hand. Oh and the little girl got some seat time too...

Yesterday I used my MF1855's FEL to lift & block up a liquid molasses tank so I could pump the last bit out.

Did a bit of planting in my garden today, first time I've been able to get back to it since I plowed and tilled it. One of my boys wanted some "Handlebar" time, so I let him! Planted 5 rows of corn in this space, and a row of cucumbers.
