I could use some stone, but transportation cost might be to much.

Yesterday I got the rest of the yard mowed and dethached with the GT5000, then I spread some grass seed and bug killer. We have already been getting ticks on us from being in the yard.

Started plowing the garden with the 990 today, been working on the garden for a few days now the grass kind of over took the rhubarb so i edged and got a lot of the sod off of it. I had to stop because I had to move my mothers car but it wouldn't start so I put a charger on it for the night and tomorrow It should start and I'll be able to finish the garden. Man that 990 can pull, I wish there was a plow day event around here but i guess i have to have my own plow day by myself.

Did a little driveway maintenance today. Used the 420 & HMDE scratcher to loosen the compacted gravel.

Then used Lil' Yeller & the York rake to smooth it out.

Spectacide granules from Lowes.

I used it last years and it made a huge difference in the amount of ticks we had in the yard.

Spent a couple hours "earning" the replacement engine for my tiller. FIL had one & said I could have it, kids & I raked all the snowblade divits out of the edge of his yard & filled in a couple holes.

Now to clean out a very dirty carb.

Got the Massey 1010 diesel out & mowed the roadside & barn areas, Used the Kubota G4200 to mow my house yard area. Today I'm dozing in a gully with my 1960 IH T340 track loader. Had a cow fall in the gully & died. No more of that. The gully is now filled, and will rework the surrounding area after I get through with lunch.

Had a wealth of seat time today. First, I took the Massey 8G and cut the back yard. Then I hooked the tiller to the Gravely and tilled up the garden to put a stop to some of the weeds springing up after the 1.5 inches of rain we had. Then I took the "scrapyard" massey and put a deck on it. I adjusted the turn limit bolts to spec, got all the belts lined up and started cutting with it. First time cutting with a hydro, really had a ball with it. The china engine had plenty of power, at one point I lined up straight and pushed the lever full speed forward. WOW! Grass was flying out the chute.

I've never driven a Cub, but I think the MF12 Hydro has a speed of between 7 and 8 mph full forward.

The neighbor gave me mulch filled with weeds/grass of my compost pile , used the Jim Dandy w/ rotor tiller to break it into tiny pieces and then the 2418 Power King to turn it into the compost pile , topped it off with some fertlizer to help it break down faster .
