Well today was a strike out. I had a deal for another 58' ride a matic that was made on Friday, I had to work the weekend so we agreed to meet today. That deal has fallen through since he isn't answering his phone...all day. Then I go to NAPA to get paint matched up for the RAM I am restoring ight now and couldn't find a match in the place. They don't have a paint scanner so we spent over an hour looking through books trying to find a match.

If anyone has a paint code that has been used in the past for bolens ram green that would be helpful lol

Sorry the seller didn't answer your calls. Maybe he still will. I can't help you with the paint, but surely someone will, as there's several Bolens guys who should have all the paint codes.

Hopefully the seller will call back, don't loose hope yet! I know somebody here will be able to give you the codes.

EDIT: I didn't read it through, there might be something of use HERE.

That's too bad but there is still hope. Sometimes things just weren't meant to work out and that leaves an opening for a better deal down the road.

Do you have any place on the tractor where you can get a good paint match?
Take a trip down to your hardware store and see if they have quarts of paint called X-O Rust. That is what I have been using on my Restorations. If you have a small sample to scan they can get you a pretty close match.

Been there do that! Very frustrating when people don't do what they say they are going to do!! I hope it works out and the seller returns your call! Can not help you with the paint codes, but I am sure you will get several good recommendations from our members.

Hope today is a better day!

Maybe something happened that has caused him not to answer. Maybe a family crisis or he himself may have gotten hurt. Don't give up it could be just a delay. Can't help with the paint since the only painting I do comes out of a rattle can.

Today and tomorrow it another day and hopefully things will get better.

Well I finally talked to the guy. He said the original owner called him and said he found a bunch of implements that went with it out in the barn. He is meeting him tonight to pick them up and said he may or may not sell some to me  .

He said he is getting a plow, cultivator, sickle mower, snow blower and something else which I imagine is a mower deck. Guess we shall see lol.

Thanks, I have a good match on the hood I could use. I would really like to find a place with a paint scanner so I could get as close to an exact match as possible.

He said he wasn't meeting him until this evening. Hopefully something goes through. The tractor has been taken apart and he says he has lost interest un it since it's been sitting in his garage for over a year.
