I would like to find a snow blade for my LGT14D but everywhere I've searched comes up empty. Any idea of any other tractors that would use the same snow blade setup (bolt on without mods if possible)? If I can find a snow blower for it that would be even better.

Just found this! First of all, :welcometogttalk: Not sure on used, but New Holland still carries a new blade for these. Part # BER657501, cost is $367.61. Best of luck!

Thanks Kenny! I was hoping for a few more replies but maybe I didn't word my question right or something. I did find a couple of snow blade setups and other attachments for the GT65, 75, 85, etc Fords but I don't know if any of it would fit the LGT14D or LGT16D tractors. The frames and attachments look similar but I just don't know for sure.

I don't know much about the newer models. They are a different animal!

Yeah, so far this tractor has been a real barrel load of fun to get parts for. The previous owner just found a 3 bag grass catcher he didn't even remember he had for the tractor. It's been modified to fit (whoever did it did a nice job) but the bags themselves are trash. As near as I can tell it was for the Ford LGT14H and 16H tractors and maybe for the later LGT65, 75, 85, 95 It has a blower assembly that mounts on the deck and is run off a belt (now I know what that extra pulley was for). I think New Holland may have new bags but they list for $65 each. Ouch!

I've got a complete snowplow setup for a lgt14d that I don't use anymore. Its in real good shape , so if you are still looking I'd like to sell mine, and I won't try to get an arm and leg for it

Those units are Shibaura made . They are 100% Shibaura. This makes finding goodies almost impossible. But there is another company that also used them .... Wheelhorse/ Toro it was something like 523 di ? Not exactly sure , but the goodies are the same, just painted red ;)

Other then the sheet metal the 14D and 16 D are the same as the later GT65 and GT75 so all attachments will fit. ....but yes good luck,... there is very little out there.

First off, I appologize for not checking this thread for a while. I got caught up in a bunch of other things and sort of forgot about it.

If you still have it, I would be very interested. Shipping will be an issue though.

Thanks! I'll make a note of that. It should help for the next round of accessory hunting!

Apparently, something got changed over the years. I bought a snow blade assembly from someone that I figured would fit based on the part numbers I had looked up. It's close but not right. I think there was a minor wheel base change or something around 1989 or 1990 or so. While I can get it to work it's gonna take a lot of tweaking.

It would look even nicer if I ever get it painted. I've got the paint, the spray guns, all the dents and rust spots are fixed and I have the decals. Just not the time. Maybe this spring I can finish it. I had it all stripped down to the frame and cleaned up when my 8 year old MTD piece of [expletive deleted] finally died and I had to put the LGT back together to mow my yard.

The exhaust actually blows off to the right away from me so it might not be too bad.
